This course will feature basic management programs, paperless records and front desklessness. Dr. Emmott will show you why a paperless record has value and give step by step instructions on how to go paperless.

Lectures
Part One, The High Tech Infrastructure: The first step in developing a successful high tech office is creating a technology infrastructure. This course will feature basic management programs, paperless records and networking as well as, hardware considerations, what to buy and what to pay. And a brief look at room layout, or where do you put all this stuff?

Part Two, The Digital Image Revolution: Once the infrastructure is in place the next step is the “BigTwo” images and x-rays. This course will feature image management, digital cameras, cosmetic imaging, digital radiography, hi tech diagnostics and advanced cool stuff.

These two sessions can be a half day each or joined together as a full day program.

Discussion
Digital Radiography Roundtable: Digital Radiography is an amazing technology that every dentist needs to have. On the other hand it is very expensive and you just can’t afford to make a mistake. Dr. Emmott will lead a round table discussion with leading digital radiography vendors. This discussion will cut through the hype, you will be able to ask questions, see demonstrations and get all the information you need to make a solid choice in buying and using digital radiography.


Hands On Workshops
Digital Cameras: A hands on program showing participants how to use a digital camera, use image management software and then how to use cosmetic imaging software. The program will include tips on taking photos, choosing cameras, and software.
